KaHuna massage offers a blissful experience, harmonises the body, releases blockages and improves energy flow while instilling a calming sense of peace and deep relaxation. Whether you’re feeling lack lustre, out of kilter, or pain, KaHuna massage offers excellent treatment. People suffering stress, depression, exhaustion, physical discomfort and injuries, confusion, grief or loss may also benefit from KaHuna massage. It can also assist if you are dealing with ongoing illness, work or relationship issues.
I have been drawn to explore religions and spirituality from an early age. This led me to various practices including meditation, Tai Chi and yoga. I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree, majoring in Comparative Studies in Arts, Religion and Science which focused on Eastern and Western Concepts of Medicine and Healing.
I have also completed a Diploma in Community Services (Diversional Therapy) and have many years of experience working with people who are frail with age and people with disabilities in a range of settings.
Growing up surrounded by mountains and forests at the foot of the Austrian Alps, I draw inspiration and guidance from being in nature, being with family and through friendships. I love reading, dancing, and creative writing. My travels have taken me to six continents and 24 countries, a pilgrimage that has transformed and enthused me about the countless natural, human and spiritual mysteries.
One of my guiding principles is Don Miguel Ruiz’s definition of Love being Generosity, Freedom and Forgiveness. Huna Philosopy continues to inspire me, with the true meaning of Aloha: Alo = to be with, to share an experience, to be in the moment; Oha = joy and happiness; Ha = life, breath, and spirit; To love is to share the happiness of life here and now. Aloha means unconditional Love.
For me, giving KaHuna massage is a wonderful and unique way to facilitate my client’s experiences of self-healing in a safe, supportive environment and with compassionate understanding. Everybody, regardless of body shape, age or state of health can benefit from Ka Huna Massage.
