Temple Style massage
I lay on the table; it feels like a cool cloud under my body. Gentle relaxation music plays upon my ears. The room is fragrant with the scent of essential oils. I am a little nervous as I do not know where this experience will take me. Breathe. The massage begins .. there are rituals I do not see - confident, shamanic - I recall that I am asked to breathe, to focus on my intention for the massage. As my journey begins the music carries me, surprises me, fills me. The movements of the massage are all around me .. I am in a cocoon of nurturing energy. I cannot follow it … thoughts enter my mind; memories, emotions. They ebb and flow, rise and fall, come and go. Time seems to stop as sensations ripple through me. I am challenged - tension I have ignored too long is exposed, brought into my awareness. My eyes are closed and yet within the darkness there is light .. visions I cant explain, memories long forgotten, feelings I never knew I had. I lay upon the table now, the massage complete. I am inside. I am aware of my body in a new way. I feel changed. I feel loved. I feel nurtured. I feel cared for. I feel aloha. Thank you Heidi from the depths of my heart. Mahalo
2-on-1 KaHuna experience
I had the privilege of a two on one massage with Andrew & Heidi this week. I have been enjoying massage for over 20 years and I’m a great believer in the therapeutic benefits of massage but this was a new experience. I have experienced both Andrew and Heidi individually as massage therapists but this was definitely different. In the first five minutes I was trying to figure out who was doing what but after that I realised it didn’t matter and I just let myself fall into the experience. This is doing what is right for your body at the highest level. The music, the warm scented oils and the total connection with and between Andrew and Heidi is a really beautiful experience. These guys are really committed to what they do and they are on their own learning journey and want this to be more than just a massage. It is a journey and they try and make each journey a totally personal experience for each individual and for them as therapists. Treat yourself and take a trip into the sublime experience of a two on one massage with Andrew and Heidi. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
Temple of the Soul meditation massage

Hot Stone Ka Huna Massage
The first Ka Huna massage I had I was on holiday and after a week of camping I needed to unkink my body. Out of the possible massages that were on offer for no real reason I picked having a Ka Huna massage. I was completely unprepared for what I was going to experience. It was one of the most deeply relaxing hours that I’ve had the luxury to experience. I’ve had other massages, each having its own value and place, but for one that is simply bliss then I can’t go past Ka Huna massage. And to find as great a practitioner of Ka Huna massage as close home was completely unexpected.
Ancient Polynesian Lomi Lomi
I wish to thank Heidi for her wonderful KaHuna Massage on the weekend (she came to my house). It is also known as Hawaiian Temple Style Massage and provides a holistic approach to healing. Heidi was very aware of my movement disorder and took that into consideration. I would highly recommend Heidi if your body or soul is in need of some TLC. Thank you, Heidi!
2-on-1 KaHuna experience
I still felt exhilarated three days after the Two On One Ka Huna massage ... it was amazing. I am recommending it for all my family and friends.
Pregnancy and Post Natal experience
Having never had a massage before I was a bit apprehensive and not quite sure what to expect. In a quiet room with music of my choice, it took a bit of time for me to get into it but soon I felt totally relaxed. I had been experiencing swollen legs and feet, pain in my diaphragm and hands, and difficultly sleeping at night. My pregnancy massage eased these aches and pains but more than anything, allowed me to take some time out to relax, prepare emotionally for labour and birth, and envision this wonderful addition to our lives. I would recommend pregnancy massage to any mum-to-be and will definitely be giving gift vouchers to any of my friends who become pregnant.
Massage during labour
I benefited immensely from massage during my 24 hour labour. I felt the contractions strongly in my lower back and massage in this area reduced my anxiety, took my mind of the pain and helped me to cope with the contractions by making them feel a little less intense. The contractions were still very painful but targeted massage made them more manageable and helped me to cope. I used four methods of pain relief during labour – heat packs, counting through contractions, gas and massage – and I really believe that massage was a huge part of what helped me to stay relaxed, in control and avoid any strong pain medication through such a long labour.
Post-natal Massage
After 24 hours of labour and an emergency caesarean by body was exhausted. A few days later I was so happy to bring my little girl home but by that time every muscle in my body was aching. In a warm room with soft music, the post-natal massage was so relaxing – reducing the swelling in my legs and feet, soothing my sore and tense muscles and calming my mind. Since then post-natal massage has continued to relieve my backache as my muscles adjust to spending hours carrying and breastfeeding my new baby. I cannot recommend post-natal massage highly enough, it is a wonderful treat that every new mum deserves.
